It’s about being proactive vs reactive…
Did you know there are more neurological connections between your shoulders and hips than there is in the transmission of your car? But when your “check engine” light goes on in your car, you do what? You take the car to the dealership. But what do you do when your check engine light goes on in your own body do you even notice?
Nope, we say to ourselves - I have to go to the gym and get in a good workout. (Thinking that is the dealership) That might be true as being sedintary reeks havoc on our posture and alignment for sure but knowing that, we go to the gym and then what…We assume we can tell ourselves I’ll just fix my problem. HUMMMMM…..ok, I’ll be honest, who trained you about the body, how it works, the anatomy, the stability system - what is it, is mine taxed etc, etc? Nope, you need to not be reactive and proactive and there is no time like the present to start with a person who has a trained eye, doesn’t judge, wants to help you be successful and strong! That is going to the dealership. You want a good car, you go to the pros - you want a good body that does what it’s supposed to - you go to the pros! There is a reason why we own studios and work on people who have had success day after day, because we know what we are doing!
But, that isn’t always how we think, we don’t need help - this is about me so only I can fix this. I caused this, so now I will get myself out of it. So you watch every TicTock on the planet and everyone says do this or that and you are an endomorph and, and, and etc…. as some of this information might be true, none of what I just mentioned is going to address the key component you are missing. And, if you think you know more than me - go ahead move on and stop reading right now…..

Here’s the thing, none of those things are addressing what caused your choas in the first place. What caused this anxiety, lack of sleep, digestive issued body of yours. Why are you sitting and then standing up feeling achy? Why are you noticing your low back and neck ache all the time yet don’t worry, you are getting your mileage in at the gym and you lifted your weights but you still have chronic pain, and what other unanswered questions are out there. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Why, why, why are things not getting better. Well, 1. let’s change the pattern and come to the conclusion - your way doesn’t work and 2. and it’s time to do this the right way and ask a pro! You need someone who knows how to address the exact things that are occurring in your body. All of these things are related and you need some tuning up. Bottom line, you are reading this for a reason….. Here’s the last piece of advice I will share with you - ask questions and if that pro cannot answer the qeustion you asked - RUN AWAY! As there are far too many of “us pro’s” that get a weekend certificate and or in some cases a Doctorate in their field and STILL CANNOT answer the question you have asked. So keep chugging along until you find that right person because we do exist. We will help you, and if you don’t believe me, well we haven’t had a conversation yet - so let’s have one!
